On Wednesday 09 March 2016, a team of experts led by Pro. Papa Demba FALL visited the Headquarters of the Institute and was received by the Deputy Director General Dr. Mahamat Adoum DOUTOUM surrounded by colleagues, Dr. Mabrouk KRAIEM and Mr Mohamed Misbaho TRAORE.

The visiting team was composed of:

• Borut ERZEN from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna.
• Rebecca ADELINE from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna.
• Spela CIMERMAN, Manager of G5 Cross-border Cooperation Project from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna.
• Benyacoub HANANE from Algeria
• Papa Demba FALL, Senior Lecturer at Sheick Anta Diop University in Dakar.

After a brief presentation of the core mission and some the major achievements of the Institute since its inception by Mr. Mohamed Misbaho TRAORE in English at the request of the visitors, the Deputy Director General offered some the major publications of the Institute to his guests.

The management of the Institute has committed to build on this opportunity by reaching out to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna to study the possibility of implementing some joint activities of common interest.
