The 2nd Extra-Ordinary Senior Officials Meeting of the Coordination Committee of Africa-Arab Partnership was held on 27 – 29 April 2016 in Malabo-Equatorial Guinea. The meeting was organized by Africa’s Strategic Partnerships, Bureau of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) in collaboration with the Government of Equatorial Guinea.

The Meeting has brought together Senior Officials representing Members of the Coordination Committee on the African and the Arab sides, namely Chad, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Kuwait, Mauritania and Zimbabwe as well as the AU Commission and the League of Arab States and the Africa-Arab Cultural Institute.

The Meeting has discussed preparations for the 4th Africa-Arab Summit to be held in Equatorial Guinea in November 2016.
