The Africa-Arab Cultural Institute (ICAA) and the University of the Sahel in Bamako signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at the premises of the Institute located in the Cité du Niger.
This MoU was signed by the Deputy Director General of ICAA, Dr Mahamat Adoum Koulbou and the Director of the University of the Sahel, Dr Saïd Mohamed Baba SYLLA.
On this occasion, the Director of the University of the Sahel extended his warm thanks to the Institute for this long-awaited noble initiative as part of the joint efforts to carry out projects of common interest, particularly in the field of scientific research, education and culture.
On the other hand, the Deputy Director General of the ICAA, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to his host for gracing the signing ceremony with his presence, seen as a way to consolidate the partnership with higher education institutions, study and research centres as well as organisations working in the field of culture in member states of the African Union and the League of Arab States.
