His Excellency Mr. Moussa Faki, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, received Dr. Mohamed Salem SOUFI, Director General of the Institute, at the African Union Headquarters on June 17, 2022 in Addis Ababa. The meeting brought together four assistants to the President of the AU, and after words of courtesy, the Director-General presented the difficulties that are hampering the progress of the Institute and the examination of ways and means to iron out these challenges for the implementation of the major projects of the Institute on hold.
In his response to the problems presented by the Institute, His Excellency expressed his commitment to seek to overcome the obstacles facing the Institute.
